I can’t recommend the Secret Garden Play Cafe highly enough! We are so lucky to have this cafe just a short walk from my house. Danielle offers a fantastic choice of drinks, meals and snacks in a warm, fun environment. The kids toys to play with are fab, and I know Danielle has gone to huge efforts to provide a great range of activities for kids to enjoy, such as soft play, baby massage, and arts and crafts.
There are so few places where you can enjoy a coffee and cake, while your little ones can play safely near you and not get bored. The cafe is sparkling clean, which isn’t always the case with play cafes aimed at little ones, and it’s far preferable to one of the huge soft play cafe venues you’d otherwise perhaps end up in! It’s a fantastic place and though I’m nearby, I’d happily travel far for it!!
I along with many local mums, couldn’t believe our luck when The Secret Garden Play Cafe opened two minutes away. Danielle has created a wonderful haven to escape to! I have a 3 year old and newborn and the cafe suits both ages and has a lovely intimate soft play, sensory room area downstairs whilst upstairs is the perfect setting to do hand printing on plates and mugs and play with the toys.
The menu is great for children too, especially the sandwich boxes which are packed with healthy treats. Danielle makes everyone welcome and we love our weekly visits to the play cafe.

Love it. This cafe is exactly what we need in the area. We went in for a pottery session. We ate a delicious lunch, perfect size for little one, and then painted a mug for granny’s birthday. The owner helped us and made us feel very welcome. Thank you. We’ll definitely be back.
Lovely cafe with beautiful clean toys to keep little ones out of trouble and pottery painting for bigger ones whilst you have a cup of tea. We had a party here and they couldn’t do enough to make it go well food was great and nothing was too much for a problem. They even especially ordered butterfly boxes to match our theme.
